Publishing & Higher Education in the Convergence2.0 era

I am passionate about Learning Content, Learning Processes and Learning Medium in Higher Education.

As a Publishing professional, I am  committed to contribute to Higher Education – to make learning faster, easier, affordable and beneficial to the learner.

I use these dashboards to express my understanding and thoughts about Publishing, Higher Education and Content. This is my learning process to comprehend the most dynamic and evolving domains. I welcome suggestions which will channel my exploration.

I am chasing my dream- to bring about greater quality in learning  and access for Higher Education in the emerging nations. In class-room, online and blended learning. Evolve new models of content usage and explore ways of faster knowledge dissemination to masses.

As BCG puts “Convergence 2.0 involves a series of ongoing discontinuities in technology, infrastructure, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics that are creating new competitors and business models and are redefining a wide range of industries” including media and publishing.

The boundaries of publishing have faded and interestingly, every business in publishing is researching on effectively utilizing its content advantage in the best of the ways and in the best of the media, reaching the largest masses and that would ensure faster ROI.

Cheers…

Joseph
